A WWII photo vividly shows joy and relief on the faces of Jews released from cattle cars after war’s end.
Unfortunately, the photo is on my desktop but not in my media file so I can’t copy it here.
Regardless, next week when I meet with high school students at Colville High School, I’ll be able to bring a copy of this heartrending photo when I discuss my books and writing career and talk about Lebensborn, my WWII novel.
After questions have been answered, then students will write in their notebooks or journals using tips for accessing new creative levels.
I’m so excited. I wish I’d known these when I was their age and needed to be able to ask the voice within. We all have this voice.
It’s been scientifically documented. I’ve been looking for the written source. Perhaps next Wednesday, I’ll have found it.
